Yorktown Beach, Yorktown, VA

A lot has changed since the last time I visited the beach of Yorktown, VA. I’m almost ashamed to say it’s been almost twenty years. Yorktown, VA was established in the late 1600s. Visit the water front with shops, food, historic tours, monuments and battlefields. The beach that once was lonely and secluded now boosts people enjoying the sun and fun. It’s become a quaint piece of American history not to be missed. You can be swept away to the remains of the shops under to hills to the Yorktown Battlefield. Step off the free shuttle that will move you throughout the area on a narrated bus or just relax on the beach and swim in the cool water.
